Steam(-ed)

This was easily the most frustrating of DDW's challenges thus far. Steam does not cooperate easily. Whether it be weather-related (it was too cloudy for the sun to cause steam to rise from the local pond), or human/machine made. I had this vision of a steam jet firing out the whistle hole on the kettle. Nope. I should have remembered my attempts to capture steam coming from the iron for the "crisp" blip.

Therefore, I just let the kettle blow off steam until I thought my ear drums would burst from the whistle. This would have been very different if done yesterday (i.e. thanks for the condolences regarding my over-libating Saturday night...)
