Stalagmite

Awesome trip out this morning to the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River, the world's longest underground river system. This is near the entrance, with nice limestone cliffs and colourful boats to ferry cave-goers around.

The stalagmite and stalactite formations in the cave were unbelievable. There was one that absolutely resembled the face of Jesus and there was a type of nativity scene. I knew that Filipinos were strongly Catholic but manipulating limestone to erode in a certain way is a bit much..
