OLD NAVAL BUILDINGS, Simon's Town.

These old buildings add such charm to the village. It is a grey wet day and we are both trying to shake off colds, so "stay at home" was the plan for the weekend.
I have to nip down to the pharmacy to get a prescription and decide to go to the library as well. This walk takes me through the Waterfront shops, across Jubilee Square with all the friendly vendours selling African curios, past the Tourism Offic and the Magistrates Court. Opposite the Police Station the road ramps up to the Library, housed in attractive old stone buildings.
The British Navy built many beautiful buildings that add so much to this charming Victorian village.
