Saturday night's all right for... cider making!

Backblip. Our Saturday night involved apples. Lots of apples, lots of chopping and lots of pressing. When we helped out at our friends' Apple Day in the South Lakes last Saturday, we were given boxes of apples, some good for storing and some for juicing. And so, we are having our first attempt at cider making, The first demijohn, set up a couple of days earlier using apple juice pressed at the Apple Day, is bubbling merrily away in the foreground. We should have lots of cider for the Christmas holidays!
