Langdale valley

A lovely first full day of our week in the Lakes. Walked from our lodge in Eltewater down the valley to Dungeon Ghyll. One of our very favourite easy circular walks. We were very lucky to get good weather looking at blips from elsewhere ( but not shouting about that cos' this the Lakes and there are 6 more days to go !) Autumn is not as advanced as in recent previous years but this place is majestic anytime. Having a good time takes longer than you think so not too much time for commenting, will try to keep up :) You can just make out the gang walking on ahead ( do all photographers get left behind like me. I then get told off for walking on up front !)
