The bubble

Littlehampton

Today I headed off Brighton bound to visit my oldest best friend.

Husband had last night bought me some fabulous new windscreen wipers and put fifty pounds of petrol into Alfie so I was all set and happy for my road trip

I arrived at chez Louis 1.15pm and we went straight off for lunch and a catch up.

After lunch and a play in the pub garden we headed off to the supermarket to collect our tea. True taureans for ever... It's all about the belly. I found a shop assistants pointy sign to keep doodle (and myself) amused.

We had a fab afternoon game of head bands and did some painting with doodle and played with some of her birthday presents - I can't believe she's 3 already.

We managed to get a very over tired doodle bathed and into bed by 7.30. It was then time to crack open the champagne and wine and cook up a reggae wrap storm.

We watched goggle box and two episodes of Naomi Campbell's new program. All of them being so bad and trashy they were fabulous and quite addictive. Seeing as Louis n I both have addictive traits we were both in heaven having a girli trash tv time. We had many belly laughs and toasted our 24 years of friendship.

My oldest friend I know your heavy heart will mend soon. We both know everything happens for a reason and I hope our belly laughs helped.

A fabulous day with my oldest friend.
