Bumble bees n trees

Today when drying my hair I noticed the hugest moving black thing in the shadows on the floor making a faint humming type noise. I guessed it wasn't a spider at the hugeness of its body... Then I thought if it is a spider it must surely be a tarantula which I thought highly unlikely so maybe a scorpion from our luggage on holiday.

After a minute of total panic I braved crouching down to investigate further. Of course it was neither of my first thoughts which you might call an over imagination. That being said, a lot of my thoughts do tend to come true... and as I thought I would never be in a room with a real scorpion as i had been two months ago it wasn't such a far fetched thought after all.

It did in fact, turn out to be a massive bee. I have I only ever seen one type of bee that huge before I found in the garden last year and this certainly looked like the same type. I am sure it is a leaf cutter bee. They live by themselves and cut huge chunks of leaf and carry it to make their nest. I watched one for an hour last year carry chunks of leaf at least three times bigger than itself which looked quite hilarious watching this huge leaf through the sky like a big sail.

Yes it definitely looked like one. I didn't get chance to blip it as I was busy staying calm and transporting it to the window to be free again to chomp leaves.

After freeing the bee though whilst locking the window, a random van pulled up and unloaded half its load onto the pavement blocking next doors entrance steps.

Maybe someone else in the world thinks the mans a cock too... Maybe he hasn't paid his tree lopping bill.

So many adventures and I haven't even left the dressing room.
