The wild side of the city

Lumpini Park is right in the heart of Bangkok. This is a place for rest, walk or do sports activities.
As you walk across the park, you have a good chance to see some monitor lizards. I saw many today. But never before had I come across a turtle. As I was taking a shot of the turtle in the grass, a huge monitor lizard popped out of the water to have a look at the turtle. Then it left and swam off.
