Spiderman in Salford

I had a little wander into Eccles to see if there was anything exciting happening at the Eccles Cake Festival. There were a few cake stalls in a marquee, the brass band was on a break and I didn't see anything worth photographing so I headed to the Lowry to see the zip wiring instead.

It was far more exciting at the Quays as there was a constant whizz of zippers flying over the canal. I flitted about taking pics from various points but it wasn't until Spiderman zapped past that I was satisfied. I was disappointed with people who clung on to the harness, the pics with arms and legs out gave a far more exhilarating and pleasing shot.

It was very windy and pretty chilly by the water so when I received at text from Ellen saying she had made scones I headed off to warm my hands round a cuppa...the scones were delicious too.
