Windfalls

Backblip

This is the result of just one extra windy night! The leaves don't even come from our own trees (mostly conifers), but from sycamores planted in the park next door. The leaves are easy enough to clear away, but it's the little helicopter seeds that cause the most trouble, as they are persistent little devils and shoot up everywhere:-)

The fallen apples will join the ever growing pile of give-aways, as there's a limit to the number we can eat! They are dessert apples and don't make good cookers or keepers, although they are lovely when fresh.

Hope the high winds didn't cause any problems for you.
