Cats Sleep Anywhere

Cats sleep anywhere, any table, any chair.
Top of piano, window ledge, in the middle, on the edge.
Open drawer, empty shoe, anybody's lap will do.
Fitted in a cardboard box, in the cupboard with your frocks.
Anywhere! They don't care! Cats sleep anywhere.

Eleanor Farjeon

Apparently there's a good reason for this: cats instinctively vary their sleeping spots so that they don't become too predictable and therefore vulnerable to predators. So Toulouse changes his favourite spot every 10 days or so - though he's fairly conservative in his choice these days as he's a bit arthritic and can't jump very high.
