Golden-crowned Sparrow

I thought this guy was pretty cute, with his little golden top notch! These birds are prevalent in the NW, and stay on the ground, often found in my neighbor's hedge! For a few more photos, visit my Flickr page.

Tonight our good friends from Bellingham are visiting, which is always a hoot! We are heading to our local Bistro for dinner, and lots of great conversation!
