Blue Heron Flies In

Woke up and saw the blue heron fly into the pond, out of the corner of my eye. Off I went to get a card in the camera and some shoes on...and off I trotted for my shot for the day. He let me get fairly close (actually I snuck up on him from behind), but he noticed me right away. I think he figured if he remained perfectly still, I might not see him....HA!!
