Plans and Lists

Many plans for my fortnight's holiday, not one of them started yet, but I have been out to a hospital appointment already this morning.

I am learning slowly to cope with wearing a hearing aid and this was just a follow up appointment. I just have to attend the repair clinic every four to six months now to get the head of the aid changed. Its not something I ever wanted, but ever since becoming hard of hearing at 14 (due to being hit on the side of the head with a cricket ball), it has gradually got worse.

Today I managed to put it in and keep it in for the car journey, into the hospital (sitting next to the rudest man~he was drinking 2 bottles of coke and then constantly burping very loudly~YUK, some people need to learn manners!), and then into town after the appointment and following onto my friend's house for coffee and catch up which is actually quite a long time for me :)

This book is great. It was brought out some years ago to encourage girls and women to take up DIY. I can count the number of times I've used it in order to sort a problem out on one hand (mainly due to having some extremely good friends and of course a wonderful Dad!) :) It also happens to be PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness Month:):)

Anyway, I'm on holiday from now until the 28th October YAY!!!

I have a list of things I want to get done, not least to clear my house of all the clutter I seem to have obtained or got into the habit of keeping and not using. The charity shops and the tip will have a great deal of it as none of it is sellable unfortunately....

Of course I will have some fun too including a meet up with another blipper and a trip to London next week when I am meeting up with my Dad (we have decided to visit the Natural History Museum) :)

Anyone who would like to meet up with me, I am thinking of a trip to Winchester (or possibly Oxford) for a day the following week....depending on the weather :)

I will be blipping late tomorrow as I'm off to my Footsteps Reunion and Certificate Evening which I'm really looking forward to :)
