The market returned to Hamilton today. This little chap was lucky enough to get a free chicken meatball... his little sister looked a bit miffed to be left out, I thought...
In addition to this stall selling delicious Moroccan dishes, there was a "taste of the Wild" burger stall selling Kangaroo burgers, venison burgers, wild boar and apple burgers, springbok burgers and kudu burgers.... pretty exotic fare for Hamilton! There was also a stall selling native American music, jewellery, dream catchers and clothes, a stall selling clothes and bags and the Nigerian man I chatted to last time was back with a really stunning collection of African carvings, including a striking 6 foot giraffe. I was tempted by that, but good sense prevailed in time... where on earth would I put it?
I had chicken and lamb tagine with couscous for lunch... very nice it was too!
Went to Zumba tonight and on my way home the frost warning indicator in my car lit up... temperature down to 3 degrees by 9pm.... bit of a change from the balmy days of last week...
