Ok - I CONFESS . . . . .. it's not small-town USA
But it's so imperfect that it works --- using my new Nikon lens I omitted to switch the Vibration Reduction facility on and might have set the White Balance much more appropriately so I ended up with an atmospheric 'Downtown Kirkcaldy' shot of a nearly deserted Main Street; and of course I'd had a glass of wine in a hostelry while reading "Feast Day of Fools" by James Lee Burke (a superb American thriller) in order to pass the time before collecting the Floral Artist so my mind was elsewhere;--Wine and an American thriller and a beautiful Floral Artist (OK I sound like Damon Runyon) look him up if you don't know him - is it any wonder I'm prattling on!
