Waldkindergarten Ottobeuren

I have Bliped this before but today it has a special meaning for me. The children were getting ready to head back down the hill to the car park and be picked up by their parents. The walk back to the car park is about half a mile. I wonder how many children have to walk a mile a day to school and back.

I gather this weekend a second wood house will be built to give more storage space.

The idea of the "Forest Kindergarten" is that the children (3 years to school start) spend the time (08:15 -12:30) outside except if it is really raining or stormy. The house has a wood stove to warm in when they have their mid morning snack.
