The Holiday Haircut

Four days until we are en vacance en France and preparations continue. It was the turn of the boy to get the holiday haircut. Not sure if it's still like this today but when I was young haircuts marked the passage of the year through major events; mostly school finishing, school starting, first communions, weddings and other family events and of course for those that could afford them, holidays. Now we just seem to get the wean shorn when it is required. So de facto he has a holiday haircut.
