I waited for this
Today felt like the calm before the storm. The weather in the last three weeks has followed pretty much the same pattern. A couple of chilly days followed by a couple of warm days followed by a couple of really hot days. Tomorrow's forecast is 37=39c (100f) today was only 26c (79f). There are some advantages to the heat but not this early in the season. Normally we don't get these temperatures until late December. So everyones gearing up for heat and the bush fire threats are already high.
Anyway like the weather, work felt like the calm before the storm so I got through it hoping to limit tomorrows expected stresses... woteva...
Out for a walk across the bridge and try to grab several interesting photos. Today I deliberately only packed my point'n'shoot, Sometimes I like having limited options it really does force a focus on creative thinking and looking for a 'story'. So while half way across the bridge I notice a pilot boat hanging around with intent. Normally this means a big boat, cruise liner or something big enough to need a guide through the harbour. Something is coming waiting.... waiting... waiting... waiting... honk honk... woo hoo a cruise liner.... where is it, where is it ..... arrr bugger a cargo thingy (morning haruka)... so I still take heaps of photos but its not as sexy as cruise boat... but it is still big and a story as it leaves Sydney behind.
