Latest Two

Managed to pick up another couple of bodies. Canon T80 with the autofocus 50mm and a T50. The T50 (poor thing) is practically worthless. Canon built millions of them and being a Program only camera, they have very little s/h value these days. Point and shoot of SLRs.

The T80 though is something else. This was Canons first real attempt at autofocus where they put the motor on the side of the lens which gave them the awkward sticky out bit. The body told the lens what to do, and the lens drove itself. It was the forerunner to the EOS system. The big change with the EOS and what set Canon apart, was the big motor that went round the lens. No one else had really figured that bit out.

A T70 is on the way, and I've just got to aquire a T90 without spending too much. And of course getting my ands on a T60 which is easier said than done right now. Canon A-1 also on it's way which will be interesting.
