Malta at last

It was great to get here before dusk, watching the sun glowing on Valletta's honeyed sandstone. The boat will be out of the water on Tuesday for a good clean of the hull in preparation for the Rolex Middle Sea Race. I enjoyed the trip (or most of it) but I shan't miss the racing, very happy to cruise. Looking forward to getting home now. Son George came through his first week at sea too. It'll make a man of him.
