Happy 1st Birthday Eva

Wow! A whole year of Eva! A whole year of gorgeous smiles and giggles (and sleepless nights). She really is a little ray of sunshine. She lights up our world.

I remember one year ago meeting her for the first time - this little person that I already knew somehow. I remember not being prepared for her to look just like Henry which was hard at first but comforting later.

I remember she knew just what to do on the feeding front - this huge pair of then dark grey eyes looking up at me underneath those luscious long lashes whilst she fed, studying me intently as though she knew all about me too! I remember not wanting to put her down at all for that first night and when I finally did, just lying there watching her.
