Annual Apple Orchard Trip

It was pouring rain in the morning and my sil Jenn, who had been planning to come with us this year, decided the rain was too much for them. My sil Shelly and family however still made the trip out. It ended up being a little sprinkly and we all had very wet feet at the end, but it was really fun! Left above is my niece Molly hiding behind the ginormous apples, middle is the whole family: Shelly, Corey, and kids Molly and Liam. And Right is Mr. Badger and Liam's pro apple picking technique for the higher branches. Works out pretty well (except for Mr. Badger's sore back later!) We bought pumpkins afterwards - so I'll have to come up with a good carving idea ...

I used to work at this orchard in high school and college. I miss all the wonderful people who used to work there and many who still do. I always leave feeling really happy having seen these amazing people again, still taking care of this orchard!
