Feast of Sheep-Fez

En route to Fez we passed through this Berber village which was holding its weekly souk , or market day.
Families were buying sheep to kill as their offering for the Feast of Sheep in two weeks time .
The senseless cruelty to the poor animals was dreadfulnto see. One man dragged one backwards by one of its legs and it kept falling over.
