Action-packed day.

It was lashing rain in the morning after a full night of rain. We decided to go to Italy for lunch, but then embarked on a walk up towards the Bosson Glacier. There were arguments about how far to go, so we lost two. The rain came down heavily again, and this was as far as it felt safe to go. You'll have to excuse the smudgy photo, but it was enough to find a rock for the self-exposure and then scramble into position.

Arguments too about how fast the glacier moves (250m/year), and much more besides. Lunch was later than anticipated, but the drive through the Mont Blanc tunnel was exciting and it really is sunnier in Courmayeur.

Home via the summer luge, dinner and then bowling until 2.00. Less on that the better.
