Another garden shot

We had a pretty lazy Sunday spent at Nancy's and I spent most of my time in the garden reading my book and soaking up a few last rays of sun. There are very few flowers left in the garden for the honey bees, so at this late point in the season they're really big and aggressive and getting desperate for food. That being said, the garden spiders are also enormous and have basically set a mine field that the bees have to go through the get to the remaining flowers to eat. There were at least three webs with big, fat spiders chowing down on some big, fat honey bees, and too many other webs waiting for a catch to even count. Even as a person, I couldn't bring myself to walk down the path through the webs for fear of making actual physical contact with one of these guys. Yuck!
