Man, it feels good to be back!

After having not Blipped in months (I think since July!) I pledged to start taking photos again and here I am today. The trigger for this decision was going out last night with a big group of people who I hadn't met before to a brew festival. Ironically, one of the last posts I did was of the Seattle International Beer Festival, but that is only a coincidence. I went with my new friend Sonja, whom I met at my new job, and Spencer and a bunch of Sonja's friends. One guy had a fancy Lumix point-and-shoot and was running around all night taking photos of absolutely anything and everything. I really missed running around, whipping my camera out everywhere, and I was a little jealous that he had a camera with him, and I was a little sad that I wasn't taking pictures with him. So today Spencer and I went for a long walk through the University of Washington campus and I took photos of all sorts of things, although I settled on posting a rather boring shot of a late-blooming rose bush. I need to get used to looking for shots at all times again... and keeping my point-and-shoot in my pocket all the time!
