Stourhead

A morning of chores.

Me: Cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, doing laundry and cleaning out the guinea pigs.

Sav: washing his bike, washing the car after he'd had a go at fixing the scratch I managed to put on the new 2nd hand car that we have to have now.

Our beautiful Citroen is a victim of our tightening of the belt and his dad and mum have given us their old car. I've never driven it before and as Sav was on nights, he drove it to the station so's I could drive myself home. By the time I'd figured out the lights, heater, demister, re window wiper etc, I'd forgotten that Sav had parked the car with the wheels at an angle and didn't quite straighten up quickly enough. I also hadn't seen the small wooden post on the offside, hence the 5inch scratch on the rear wheel arch area! Must have taken me all of 5 seconds to make my mark on our new vehicle! I miss my DS3!

Anyhoo ... as it was such a lovely day we then went to the very popular National Trust estate called Stourhead. As autumn progresses the trees will put on a lovely show, but I don't think this is too shabby a view.
