San Juan Farmers Market

I got rustled to the farmers market this morning to help Jim and Pritya sell the vegetables we harvested yesterday. One of the cutest farmers markets I've seen and just the right combination of local farmers, bakers, and artisans of all stripes looking out on the sound below pockmarked by the islands.

Luring in passerby with a smile and the sheen of all this good lucking produce. Potatos, green beans, onions, daikon radishes, beets, lettuce, squash, cucumber, zucchini, parsley, fresh cut carnations and many other things besides. My first day working the farm stand making transactions and apparently the best day they've had all summer. Alright!

The market ended around 1pm and we packed it up for next week. Spending the rest of the afternoon helping with some chores round the farm and reading a book in the grass.... Jim wants me to take photos of the farm and the market stand to make a display of sorts. I snapped this shot of him and Pritya working the market. CaaaChiing baby!
