"Happy birthday to you!"

Grandma afforded me and Nikki a lie-in this morning, kindly playing with the wee man in the early hours.

After a fairly leisurely start, we set off on a long walk around town, stopping at various parks, playgrounds and coffee shops along the way.

The wee man has been in great spirits recently, giggling away as we charge aimlessly around in his buggy. He's also started to actively share his food with Mum and Dad. I'm not sure how long this will last for but it's certainly heart warming at the moment.

With Grandma settling the wee man down for bed, Nikki and I are about to head out for her birthday meal. I hope it's up to snuff!
