Lunchtime sun!

This Martello tower caught my eye because it is home to hundreds of pigeons.
Every so often something spooked them and they would swoop around the small bay in a very tight formation making a terrific whooshing sound as they passed us.
This would continue for about 5 minutes until they tired or the supposed threat disappeared. If you look at the top of the tower you can see some of them in resting and lookout mode!
It was a beautifully warm bright day and I believe it will continue for a few more days (I hope so!)
