Pacific Paradise?

Taken this morning from right outside my fale. What a wonderful place!

All the resort guests were invited to church in the island village this morning. The full service was, logically, in Tongan so we were unable to follow it - though by tone and expression I gather there was a fair bit of fire and brimstone involved - but the singing of the congregation was incredible. I got goosebumps through every song.

Each evening in the resort a group made up of locals has sung to us through dinner (and on into the evening), and that has been beautiful, but today's harmonising was just breathtaking. My thanks to the Free Tongan Church congregation for inviting us to participate. Another amazing experience on this island.

Leaving in the morning is going to be really sad.
