Cascade view

A glimpse of the lovely cascade mountains on one side, the steely cold waters of the sound on the other, the drive down off Chuckanut Drive is so pretty. We went both up and down the drive that parallels the waters around the San Juan Islands north of Seattle. We took an all day drive ever stopping at a dog park that was new to all of us along the way. This way the hooligans could ride along and have some joy too;) We got some farm produce and picnicked at a bench overlooking Bellingham Bay. It was a lovely escape and much needed one for Big R as well as myself and the hooligans.
