Chairman Jay-Bo

A very positive meeting tonight of the South Wales IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) Patient Panel! It’s been quite a few months since we last met and to be honest we hadn’t made much progress, that was down to a number of reasons but it’s time to move on now and start to get our voice heard. We’ve got a proper plan and some ideas of how to move forward, hopefully another meeting within the month to talk to the professionals in the NHS and hear their experiences.

Oh and I’m now the Chairman of the group as well! I’m proud to accept the position and I think we can make good progress with the group that we’ve got, so many talents to tap into.

In other news I was mightily peeved off this morning, after making my home from Penrith to deliver a training course back at my office. Although the 5 subbies who should have been there never turned up! Bloody subbies!
