"when I need to find the shore"

Corbiere Lighthouse - a famous landmark from Jersey and where we spent this morning! Although, it's more impressive at sunset!

When the tide is out you can walk out to the lighthouse, on what would be the sea bed. It's like scenery out of a futuristic movie! But this is the reward! :)

We sat down for a few minutes taking in the view before deciding that the tide was definitely coming in so we should walk back across pronto!

After lunch we spent the rest of the day on St.Brelade's Beach - the most beautiful beach on the island. It's the one all the tourists flock to so at the busiest times during the summer it can be a very crowded beach but today it was quiet - almost resembling one of the quieter, hidden away beaches that only the locals know about....and us!

Needless to say that in 30 degree heat, my sun deprived, sickly white legs started to sizzle and so I've gone to bed with lobster-like legs! :(
