"summer holiday"

It's a whole other world up there isn't it?!

I flew home again today.....but not home as in Ballinamallard.

I flew home to Jersey!

The channel island of Jersey is our second home and its been 4 years since we were last there so it was time we went back :)

Flying from Edinburgh to Jersey I had a brief stop-off in Gatwick in London. The North Terminal in Gatwick is huge!!! Jumbo jets parked up everywhere!

Mum and Dad were flying in from Belfast and it turned out that our flights were right behind each other - me first, so for 10 minutes in the arrivals hall I got to experience what it would be like to wait on my parents to arrive if they were coming to visit me there! I've always dreamed of living in Jersey - there just isn't enough crime on the island to give me a full time job!

We left the airport and travelled to our usual hotel where Daisy and Monty - the owners dogs were waiting for us! Lovely to see them again!

Blue skies, white clouds, sunshine and a week to relax as a family.... :)
