Finally, a victory

It's been a while for the Diamonds but this was the final celebration from the final goal from the final kick of the game that gave them a 7-4 victory tonight. Makes for a much happier start to the weekend.

A few other victories as well if I can stretch the analogy a little further...errant decorator appears to have risen from the dead and will apparently be gracing us with his presence on Monday. Gave some real nonsense reasons for his lack of communication and wasn't especially apologetic but I'm going to appreciate a decorator in the hand and all that. The "simple" job of getting the garden cleared has actually taken up most of my day due to the discovery of concrete, bricks and 100 year old slate in what we thought was an earth bed.

The disruption will be worth it. (And repeat).

Definitely wine o'clock now - hello weekend my old friend!
