Searchlights

Today's the day ........................ for heavy rain

The big electronic signs on the M74 were warning us of Heavy Rain Forecasted as we drove south back to Kendal early this morning.

Not quite sure what we were supposed to do with this bit of information? It wasn't raining at the time - although there was plenty of cloud about. But it didn't seem that threatening and here and there, the sun was managing to pierce it with a few searchlight beams. In fact - it kindly managed to stay dry throughout the entire journey.

It made up for it this afternoon though - but then we're quite used to that round here .......................
