To brighten up a rainy day

I nipped out quickly in between the heavy showers to photograph these flowers in a nearby garden (I believe they're Calendulas?) I thought a nice bright shot would be good on such a dull and rainy day :-)

Also cooking a nice roast lunch today with plenty of vegetables - sprouts, cauli, sweetcorn and carrots, also roast parsnips. I think you need a good meal when it's nasty outside! Then maybe I will have the energy to do some ironing - or alternatively fall asleep on the settee ;-)
