Nifty nonogenarian
Meet Aryclea, the newest and oldest member of our choir. 94 years old and always immaculately turned out - never misses a Scottish Country Dancing practice if she can help it, knows all the dances and dances them. Attends one of Rio's most famous theatre schools, occasionally does bit parts in a soap and missed on the part of a motorbike granny in a TV commercial because she didn't have white hair.
Her enthusiasm is infectious and as well as bringing several friends along to the dancing, she decided to join the choir recently and bring a friend along to that too.
Looooong day today, waking ridiculously early, later on driving Honourable Husband to eye specialist for post glaucoma op checkup (all OK there) before rushing to the other end of town for a recording - just an answerphone message, one of those that drive you mad while you wait to talk to a flesh-and-blood person. However, quite excited about who it's for - won't even say who till I'm sure the client has approved it and I'm on the air.
Then trying to concentrate on playing catch-up in the afternoon till time for our choir rehearsal.
I'm pooped.
