Cambridge.

Hi Tom I've been to Cambridge today. I can't believe it's just over an hour away and I've never been before. It's quite an easy journey really. Next time I will use park and ride as the cost to park was £16.50. I couldn't find the car park I'd left my car in, had a panic, then found a map to tell me where I was...phew! Cambridge is so nice. Full of beautiful old buildings and bicycles....as you can see. There were lots of little individual shops as well. I found a small market and bought a bargain dress for under£20.00. Had a couple of stops for coffee...but no cake....although the cakes looked so good, I kept thinking of my waistline! I had a lovely walk along the river and a good old nose at the barges. I would love to see inside one of the barges. It didn't rain so it was a good day. Tonight I'm out for dinner with the girls. Must say I'm quite tired and could do without it really. Its been arranged for a while so I must go. Just hope I get up for swimming in the morning. X
