To Look Uppards

I have walked past this particular doorway many times before and have only half noticed this stone carving which is above the old entrance to Tynwald Buildings and which is where the Manx Parliament meets.

In 1893 the government clearly had a fair breeze from astern. I think it might be a bit of a head wind now, and a choppy sea too, when the money runs out!
