It begins
There were definite autumn colours in the Port this evening, with the wood of the masts of the little boats picking out the tinge in the trees behind.
After my half (really two thirds) day, I came back for Ben and work and homework and then found I had decided I had to do something about it. The hour I would be in the Port while Agu ran around, at least on a Tuesday, is I time I have alone and so must be used wisely. So i put on some trainers and spent most of it trotting and walking around the track. I do feel energised by it, but I know I must not get carried away.
We had a little stroll and shop afterwards to appreciate the red mountains in the sunset and then caught up with Ben at footy, also catching my lovely colleague Ivan, who is now goalie for Soller big boys. They are on a roll, top of the league. Hurrah! Ben's first match in the league is next Saturday. They won their latest friendly and all are pumped up for it. Ben is also pumped up for school and I had half an hour revising for a test with little Agu (religion and I learned something..) before home, cleaning and filling bodies with pasta. It begins, but still much confusion about how it all fits into a day. I know I will look back on these days with many happy memories. When we finally get to sit and eat together we end up in hoots, usually of laughter. I won't tell you the current in joke about a ship's klaxon and public announcements about bodily functions, but you get the picture....
