First Carrot!

It will never cease to amaze me how much one little hamster can shove into his seemingly teeny mouth. This sizeable carrot disappeared into his cheek so quickly that I didn't get that cute shot of him that I had hoped for - excitedly clutching his first carrot in his little paws. Oh well, he was happy! :o)

He's laying the guilt trip on thick tonight. I'm being firm with play time on "school nights", so that I actually get some sleep. And as I type this, he is sat by his door, with big puppy-dog eyes, asking to come out and play some more. I don't know how to resist ... he has so much power for one so tiny!
