Paris has 1 Eiffel tower...but Amman has many!

So, this is something I have noticed in my last month in Jordan (yes, I have been in Jordan for 1 month as of yesterday!). There are these massive antenna like structures shaped in various ways to look like the Eiffel Tower on buildings in Amman all over the place. Some of these structures looks almost exactly like a miniature Eiffel Tower just hanging out on top a hotel or take out place and others such as this one are more of a variation of the Eiffel Tower.

When I first noticed it I thought it was just the one building, then as I took more taxi rides and walked around to new areas of Amman I realized it's everywhere....and I love it. I mean, why not?! I don't know if there is a purpose to why these wires attached to buildings are in the shape of the Eiffel Tower or what exactly it does...but it certainly is a thing here.
