Lake Louise and Friends

The weather looked a bit doubtful today so we decided to go into an area of the park that we had not been in and headed out early towards Yoho. Passing Lake Louise however we found that the Gondola lift to the ski area was on it's last day so up we went. The Boss and I rode on a chair but The Bossess kept Diana company in a Gondola unit and boy was it cool. The view was cool and the temperature was extremely cool but it was well worth it as the view was stunning and a visit to the interactive centre got some grrreat bear photos. The bear was lying on a table in rug mode and had no problem with The Boss setting up his tripod for a snarly closeup.
On the way down The Bossess rode with The Boss and ME so we got some more grrreat photo's of her in her nice new cosy jacket. The Boss didn't use his today and regretted it big time.

Sometimes bad weather is good and The Boss had a choice of shots as the lighting shifted but you had to be there as the shifts were very fleeting.

This is without double a grrreat place and the 8 days allocated will fly by.

Many thanks again for all the great comments. Wifi is very good in this place, The Fox on Banff Ave, but the days are simply not long enough and the Boss seems to fall asleep without warning so simply downloading the camera and doing backups and restoring his chocolate balance takes most of the spare evening.
