Night time outing to see Fascinating Aida at the Pleasance Theatre. Brilliant.

Daytime more mundane with dance classes and football training and continuing to sort stuff in J's room in the hope a decorator will appear at some point. Extraordinary how much stuff he has amassed. Will be so satisfying once it is complete. I hope.

And morning trip with neighbour to our local councillor's surgery to enquire about assistance with saving our lamp posts. (First priority must be a campaign name). Sort of helpful but sort of discouraging as she was very powerless and clearly feels very powerless; "yes, I'm worried they're going to do the same on my street too", for example. But have some names and a slightly better understanding of who's who and where some of the power and influence might sit.
