Not your ordinary B&B!

After two weeks of sun, we had terrific thunderstorms last night, and rain as we travelled north today.

We are staying the night in Autun, about 85km southwest of Dijon, in an old, old building that was once a convent. We seem to have a suite of rooms with some extraordinary furnishings. This picture is the entrance, looking out on to the convent gardens. Our door is the one on the left. We will be venturing through the fabulous door on the right and up a spiral staircase soon to hopefully find some wifi and for breakfast in the morning. Not your ordinary B&B this!
