Kites at Ouistreham

Early start for a ferry but it was nice and easy as our hotel was very close to the port. No hanging around in queues this time and a very quiet ferry. Chose our spot to sit in the cafe and watch the world go by. Read the paper and our books for most of the crossing.

Arrived at Caen late afternoon and headed off towards the holiday house on the Cote des Isles. Stopped off for provisions on the way and then had a nice evening looking round the village and walking down to the sea front.
