Reprise of summer

Very busy morning at work with meetings and lots to sort out before I have a week away. Finally left the office at around 2pm and then had a good journey home. It was a lovely day - sunny, bright and warm. When I got home, the buddleia outside the house was covered in butterflies again. Some of them were a bit tatty but they were great to see.

Sorted out the last bits of packing, loaded up the car, said goodbye to number two son who'll be on his own for a week, and set off for Portsmouth and a night in a hotel before an early ferry tomorrow.
